From the Author
I've always thought that an Alphabet Sampler would make
a great quilt. In fact, this idea has been brewing since
1976!
Wait until you see my super-simple applique technique. Use
the CD I've provided to print your letters onto lightweight
paper. Layer the fabrics, stitch on the line, then trim the
letter. What could be easier? Give it a try and I know you'll
agree.
So what will you make? A crossword puzzle quilt to get the message
across? The name of that sweet baby you're welcoming into your family?
How about stitching up an easy monogrammed bag for a teacher gift
or a wedding party? Once your creative juices are flowing, you'll
think of even more ways to use these letters. Go ahead and get creative
- add an inital to a baby bib, apron, placemat, polar fleece scarf....from
A to Z, the possibilities are endless!
